If there’s one thing that many indie authors do, it is skip focusing on marketing. One of the key features of a marketing plan, is a media or press kit. It not only helps you look professional and ready for the main-stage, but it also has everything a member of the press (or blogger, or interviewer, or reviewer) is going to need when they write an article on your or your books.
They take a little bit of work and a lot of finesse, but in the end — they make a difference.
I mean, would you rather write up something on an individual who has it all there, nice and neat in a package with a bow–or would your rather have to spend time gathering it yourself?
I thought so!
I’ll be posting more tips on media kits soon, but as part of LGEP’s PR & Marketing services, media kits are included for all part time and full time clients. It doesn’t matter if you’re just purchasing a week of services, or three months, you’re going to have a media kit to use now, later, and in the future!
